Nominations are now closed.

Nominations for the Adult Learners’ Week Awards 2009 ( www.alw.org.uk ) have now closed. Once again we have had over 1000 nominations about inspirational adult learners, whether they learn as individuals, families or groups.

We have also received lots of nominations from organisations and projects which open doors to adult learners of all ages and stages.

Thank-you to everyone who has taken the time to celebrate the achievements of adult learners across the country.

The shortlisting and selection process now begins and winners of the awards will be announced in April 2009. Everyone who has been nominated will receive a certificate.

The awards winners are the highlight of Adult Learners’ Week (9 - 15 May 2009) which is the UK’s largest and longest-running festival of learning.
