Organising Events

Every year, thousands of events and tens of thousands of people get involved in activities to promote adult learning - providing learning where ever it happens: at home or in the prison cell; in front of a computer or on the allotment; in the kitchen or at the library; at the local community centre or the national art gallery; in the office or in the fork-lift truck.

If you would like a copy of our Planning Guide CD which will help you create your ideal activity during Adult Learners' Week one is included in our Adult Learners' Week event in a box which you can order through this link - [PDF].

The examples in the 'Example of events' section are to help you think about what ideas and events would work best for you and are by no means exhaustive. If you would like further help with your planning remember that one of the best ways is to work together with others in your region.
