Evaluating Community Projects - a practical guide
These guidelines were initially developed as part of the JRF
Neighbourhood Programme. This programme is made up of 20
community or voluntary organisations all wanting to exercise a
more strategic influence in their neighbourhood. The guidelines
were originally written to help these organisations evaluate
their work. They provide step-by-step advice on how to evaluate
a community project which will be of interest to a wider
audience. |

Network on Intercultural Learning in
Europe (NILE).
The increased mobility of citizens worldwide and within Europe,

living and working in Europe, are turning the concept of
'intercultural learning' into one of the most essential aspects
of lifelong learning. In view of rising racism in nearly all
European countries, the real challenge lies in linking valuable
pedagogical approaches developed in the field of intercultural
learning to the overall process of general globalization and
migration... read more > |

Strategic Area Reviews: learning needs of black people and
ethnic minority groups
At NIACE's annual race equality conference held in London on the
16th December 2003 delegates expressed some concern about the
extent to which the LSC had accounted and planned for race
equality issues as part of Strategic
Area Reviews (STaRs) which are part of theme four of Success For
All. Toni Fazaeli Director of Performance Analysis, Theme Four
Leader Success for All Quality and Standards Directorate, who
gave a presentation on Strategic Area Reviews, promised that she
would pull out some of the implications for equality as
expressed in the LSCs documentation on Strategic Area Reviews. |
