ALW LogoAdult Learners’ Week 2008 Regional Road Show

Come and find out what the UK’s largest learning festival can do for you.

Adult Learners’ Week has successfully engaged with hundreds of thousands of people over the last sixteen years. Since 1992 the campaign has provided the opportunity to highlight that learning is not only good for individual health, self-esteem and employability, but also that it transforms lives.

Adult Learners’ Week encourages adults in all their diversity to give learning a go, whether for pleasure, to catch up on skills missed out at school or job progression.

2008 will celebrate the seventeenth year of Adult Learners’ Week, with events and activities taking place from 17th to 23rd May 2008. NIACE, who coordinate the campaign, are hosting an Adult Learners’ Week Road Show to give local communities the chance to see what it is all about and to encourage wider participation and more partnership activity.

There are only 60 FREE places available at each half-day road show event.  The events will take place in the morning from 9.30.  So don’t delay – apply today.
