Background

The seminars in Peterborough and Bristol will provide information about how to take part in GRUNDTVIG, the action within the Socrates European Education and Training Programme which is exclusively concerned with adult learning and is open to everyone engaged in non-formal and formal Adult Education. These seminars will provide participants with the information needed to prepare an application for funding before the deadline of 1 March 2006. In the past over 1000 successful applications have been submitted by UK organisations who have received EU grants ranging from 1000 Euros to 150000 Euros.

The seminars will provide information about European Co-operation Projects, Learning Partnerships, Professional Development Grants and GRUNDTVIG networks.

The seminars will cover the aims of GRUNDTVIG, examples of good practice, advice on preparing proposals, finding European partners and taking part in transnational work.

If you would like to check if these seminars are relevant to your organisation please contact Karen Davis at the British Council, e-mail Karen.Davis@britishcouncil.org
