1. Price,
Availability and Formation Of Contract |
| |
1.1 |
The prices and other information displayed on this
page and other pages relating to the online reservation of our
conferences are an invitation to treat. Whilst NIACE endeavours to
ensure accuracy of description and pricing, there may be occasions
where errors arise. In addition to this, prices are subject to
change without prior notice. Should such situations occur NIACE
will contact you with a full explanation and corrected details.
NIACE will allow you the opportunity to cancel your reservation or
booking in such circumstances. However, NIACE reserves the right to
make changes to the published programme of a conference in the event
of one or more of the advertised speakers being unable to attend.
In such case, you will have no claim against NIACE in respect of
such changes and will not be entitled to cancel.
|
| |
| |
1.2 |
All prices are payable in Pounds Sterling. Online
applications for reservations (such applications being referred to
herein as “Reservations”) must be made on or before the closing date
for the booking of the relevant conference as indicated in the
relevant conference information (“the Closing Date”). Only
application forms with the payments section properly completed will
be processed. |
| |
| |
1.3 |
Upon receipt of your Reservation NIACE will e-mail an
acknowledgement of receipt to you but this will not constitute an
acceptance of your Reservation. Your Reservation will not be a firm
booking unless or until NIACE accepts your Reservation by e-mailing
its confirmed acceptance to you. |
| |
| |
1.4 |
You may place your Reservation by completing the
application form giving your details including payment details and
clicking onto the ‘authorise’ button. |
| |
2. Allocation
of Places to Delegates |
| |
2.1 |
You are expressing your
intention to attend this event via an Online Conference Reservation process.
Places are allocated to delegates:
1) as soon as payment by credit card, cheque or postal order is received by
NIACE.
or
2) as soon as an invoice is issued by NIACE following receipt of the
delegate's purchase order. |
| |
3. Payment |
| |
3.1 |
If you
do not wish to give your credit card details over the Internet, you
can place your Reservation online and follow it up by sending us your
cheque or postal order to reach NIACE before the Closing Date. Please ensure that you annotate the purchase order or the reverse of the cheque with the event title, date and unique reservation ID number.
Those submitting Reservations from outside the UK
must pay by credit card or international banker’s draft. VAT is not
payable on the prices quoted. Please note that NIACE accepts
payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch
and other major credit/debit cards. We, however, do not
accept American Express. NIACE will only invoice organisations for orders of £35 and above. |
| |
4. Reservation |
| |
4.1 |
The online reservation must be completed by the attendee. If your Reservation is accepted NIACE will confirm this within 10 working days of
you placing your Reservation. |
| |
5.
Cancellation by You |
| |
5.1 |
Once your Reservation has been accepted NIACE will
commence making arrangements in respect to it and, therefore,
incurring costs. You cannot cancel, therefore, except as stated on
this website. Please refer to the Programme and application form
for full details of cancellation terms. In any event, if you wish to
cancel a booking on or after the Closing Date the full fee is
payable. Substitutions may be made by notifying NIACE 5 working days
prior to the Conference date. |
| |
6. Cancellation by NIACE |
| |
6.1 |
There is a limited number of places on each event
and these will be allocated as described in paragraph 2.1 above. You
will be notified in writing within 10 days of submitting your
Reservation if you are placed on a waiting list. Please notify
NIACE immediately if you do not wish to remain on a waiting list. |
| |
| |
6.2 |
NIACE shall be entitled to cancel your Reservation or
booking and/or any event where it needs to do so due to
circumstances outside its control (including but not limited to the
situation where sufficient numbers have not booked for the event).
It will have no liability for costs or expenses you may incur due to
such cancellation but it will refund your Reservation payment to you
or offer you an alternative NIACE event if one is available.
You can choose whether to accept the refund or attend the
alternative event. |
