This conference is brought to you jointly by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, UNISON and NIACE.

Aim

bulletTo demonstrate how employee involvement in learning leads to tangible benefits for staff and quality patient care
bulletTo demonstrate how good practice in Social Partnerships can lead to increased involvement in learning for support staff.

Objectives

bulletInvolving health staff in the development of a learning strategy will ensure ownership and engagement
bulletA wide range of learning methods, including informal learning methods, can support excellence in workplace learning
bulletThe workplace can provide a stimulating and appropriate curriculum for learning
bulletA negotiated curriculum is more effective than an imposed one.
