Background
This conference is brought to you jointly by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, UNISON and NIACE.
Aim
 | To demonstrate how employee involvement in learning leads to tangible benefits for staff and quality patient care |
| To demonstrate how good practice in Social Partnerships can lead to increased involvement in learning for support staff. |
Objectives
| Involving health staff in the development of a learning strategy will ensure ownership and engagement |
| A wide range of learning methods, including informal learning methods, can support excellence in workplace learning |
| The workplace can provide a stimulating and appropriate curriculum for learning |
| A negotiated curriculum is more effective than an imposed one. |
