The following position is currently vacant within the Organisation:

Development Officer (Disability Equality)

£43,244 - £51,653 (pay award pending). A national post, based in Leicester, involving regular travel.

NIACE is the major voice on adult learning and has a successful record in research and development, publishing, conferences, and promoting adult learning.

A full-time Development Officer is required to lead on NIACE’s work in relation to disability and equality legislation, in collaboration with members of the Health & Disability Equality team.

We are looking for someone who can:

provide leadership on disability and equality issues in relation to the different sectors involved in adult learning

contribute to NIACE’s research and development work in relation to inclusive learning.

You will have a sound understanding of legislation and government policy in relation to adults with disabilities and/or learning difficulties, with a background of working at senior management level.

Administrator (Literacy, Language and Numeracy)

£18,907 - £20,736. Permanent post, 37 hours per week Based in Leicester.

NIACE carries out research, development and policy-related work in the field of education and
training for adults, at the forefront of adult learning.

An Administrator is required to work with the Project Officer in support of projects in the Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LLN) team. Your tasks will include day to day administration, progress chasing and support to different interest groups and networks. You will possess sound organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and a flexible approach to working. Excellent IT skills are essential, including the use of PowerPoint and Outlook.
