Broadcasting

Since the earliest days of broadcasting in Britain, radio and then television have been seen as educational agencies. This tradition continues, and the national broadcasters are all involved in educative broadcasting as well as specific educational initiatives. All the national and regional television companies have close links with the Institute, and are all heavily involved in Adult Learners' Week. In addition the Institute undertakes specific pieces of consultancy for and about broadcasting and adult learning.
