This survey of over 6,000 adults reveals that around half of the UK adult population take part in sport or fitness activities. Although learning new things is not usually the main motivation for watching or participating in sports, the survey shows that an interest in sport and fitness has led many respondents into learning. The report provides a breakdown of who is participating, in which sports, their motivations for doing so and how this links into learning.
