Mark RavenhallAssociate Director (The Regions) - currently on secondment to the CFE working on Employment and Work related matters until April 2009 Mark Ravenhall, BA, Cert. Ed, MA (Education Management), is an Associate Director at NIACE. He currently manages NIACE’s team of development officers in the English Regions. He has over 15 years’ experience as a teacher and trainer of adults. He has managed education provision for the Pestalozzi Trust, liaising with UK schools and universities and partners in developing countries. Local authority adult education work has included management roles in Buckinghamshire and East Sussex. Mark previously co-ordinated NIACE’s programme of work for the Learning and Skills Council, leading projects on data collection, post inspection support, and performance review. He was project manager for the NIACE/FPM ‘Managing Better’ management training programme for staff in local authority adult education, and is involved is a member of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Excellence in Leadership. Mark represented NIACE on the working group of the cross-governmental national review of adult information, advice and guidance services in England. Publications include: Ravenhall, M.
