Prudential Financial Literacy ProjectProject Status: Completed
March 2002 - January 2003 NIACE's ICT and Basic Skills team were approached by Prudential Financial Services to produce an on-line financial literacy resource targeted at both learners and tutors. The Basic Skills team recruited experts in financial literacy to provide materials mapped to the literacy and numeracy curriculum as well as having clear stated objectives and are relevant informative and fun. These materials were assessed by the basic skills team and formatted into an interactive web site by ANQ services. The aim of this project was to provide on-line financial literacy materials that could be accessed via the internet to be used by both learners for their day-to-day financial matters and by tutors.
