Aims

The Department of Health is establishing a corporate university (the NHSU) for staff working in the NHS and social care sectors, with the overall aim of improving patient care through making learning opportunities available to these staff and to patients. In the Skills for Life and Health project NIACE is leading the development of NHSU-based learning opportunities for staff who wish to improve their literacy, numeracy and language skills and access the full range of NHSU learning and career opportunities.
