Project History

The ALI review of ‘basic skills for offenders in the community’ highlighted a number of weaknesses in community provision. The report acknowledged that some areas have been successful in establishing ‘practices that form a sound basis for success’ but more work is needed.

 

Aim

To identify, record and publish a set of promising practice case studies

 

Objectives

bulletConsideration of the operation of vocational skills learning against the initial vision and objectives of the programme.
bulletCollect the views of stakeholders and participants.
bulletIdentify, record and publish examples of promising practice.

 

Additional Information

Launch events to be held in Birmingham (6th July), London (8th July) and York (12th July)
