A Charter for Learning

Project Status: Completed

The Charter for Learning by and for people with learning difficulties, was officially launched by Eve Rank Petruzziello, James Bliss and Robert Must on May 25th 2000

When launching the charter Eve Rank Petruzziello said "The charter and the charter pack give a chance for people with learning difficulties to think about their rights. It is important that people with learning difficulties made the charter because they did it was all their ideas."

The charter is available as:

bulletan A3 illustrated poster
bulleta "mini-charter" (the size of a credit card)  for students to carry around with them. 
bulletThe Our Right to Learn pack is based on the Charter for Learning.

Eve Rank Petruzziello is a member of the Disability Rights Commission and represents people with learning difficulties on the commission.   James Bliss and Robert Must were members of the project advisory group that developed the charter and are students at SITE at City Lit.
