Hayley LambBSc MA joined NIACE in November 2007 as a Research Assistant. Working within the Research Team, she is currently involved in a broad portfolio of research and development projects in the area of adult learning. Hayley has experience of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, including surveys, telephone and face-to-face interviews, and focus groups, with a particular interest and specialism in formative and summative evaluation, mapping provision for young people and adults, and systematic literature review techniques. She has a particular interest in training and education in later life and co-authored a report on the impact of demography for the national review of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) services for adults. From 2004-2007, Hayley worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Guidance Studies (CeGS), University of Derby, where she worked on an extensive array of projects in the fields of youth policy, adult guidance and workforce development. In summer 2006, she was awarded a Staff Certificate of Excellence as a Promising Researcher by the University of Derby. Recent publications and presentations include: Published reports: Lamb, H.
