The E-Guides training programme is an introduction for practitioners from the learning and skills sectors to e-learning and using technology effectively in teaching and learning. It is delivered by NIACE on behalf of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) alongside the Professional Development Advisers (PDAs) eCPD
The E-Guides eCPD and PDAs eCPD fulfil part of the Institute of Learning's (IfL's) 30 hour (or pro rata) continuing professional development (CPD) requirement. The programmes form a cornerstone in the delivery of the employability strand of Becta's Harnessing Technology for Next Generation Learning.

E-learning is learning supported or enhanced through the application of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
