The E-Guides and Libraries staff development programme

Project Status : Completed

Background
The E-Guides and Libraries staff development programme was developed by NIACE to support library staff in developing and increasing the use of e-learning. NIACE developed this programme after considerable interest from the library sector in the existing E-Guides programme and requires trainers.

The programme aimed to increase the use of e-learning in libraries through developing the skills and knowledge of E-Guides to support colleagues in their use of technology for learning.

Applicants must have had at least three years experience of working in post 16 sector (preferably in adult and community learning), experience of using technology in teaching and learning, training the trainers qualification and/or experience of teacher or staff training and excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants were particularly welcome from those with a background of local authority libraries.
