Life, Leeks and Lilies, a beautifully illustrated account of the gardening experience of different groups of people.

Gardening is a fascinating way to learn underpinning science in an enjoyable way, including chemistry, biology and botany skills. This new publication, conceived by NIACE and Thrive and funded by the European Social Fund,  is introduced by Monty Don of BBC's Gardeners’ World and links into the BBC’s Neighbourhood Gardener initiative.
