On 13th September 2007, over 120 delegates attended the Young Adults Learning Partnership (YALP) national conference, celebrating ten years of the partnership between NIACE and the National Youth Agency (NYA).

Entitled 'Learning from the Edge' the purpose of the conference was to enable delegates to learn about:

	Government strategy and plans to support and engage marginalised and hard to reach young adults in learning.
	The experiences and aspirations of young adult learners - what motivates and helps them to achieve.
	Innovative and effective approaches to work with 'hard to reach' groups
	Winners of the YALP national awards.
