In 2006, The Young Adults Learning Partnership launched The Youth Literacies Network , supporting practitioners working with young adults aged 16 to 25 to develop literacy, language and numeracy. Network events to date have offered members the opportunity to hear presentations from practitioners, take part in discussions, review recent national research findings, and share their expertise and experiences to develop practice, and shape future meetings of the network. From April 2007, Youth Literacies will continue to function, but as a virtual network. Improved e-bulletins will be distributed quarterly, and network members will have the opportunity to participate and play a part in wider YALP research and development activities. Case Studies
