Community Clowning in Braunstone - Evaluation

Project Status: Current

YALP is currently undertaking small-scale work evaluating an innovative project entitled Community Clowning in Braunstone. Delivered by the WEA, this project is targeted at young people under 25 who live on the Braunstone Estate in Leicester. Braunstone is amongst the 5% most deprived wards in Britain, with high levels of poverty, unemployment and other indicators of deprivation. The learning objectives of this course are focussed around artistic development, personal development and community development experience.

For further information about this project and the evaluation, please contact Nicola Aylward on 0116 2047059 or e-mail Nicola.Aylward@niace.org.uk
