Background
The Original Wall of Ambition was launched in 2003 to coincide with
the Digital Divide (formerly Hairnet) Silver Surfers Day and awards.
NIACE is now re-launching it as part of Adult Learners' Week 2005. It is specifically for
older learners on the O&B web
site.
Older learners are encouraged to post details of their learning ambitions on this page. These ambitions will take the form of virtual ‘bricks’, which will build a ‘Wall of Ambition’. The Wall will provide a record of the diverse goals and motivations of older learners, and we hope that it will inspire others to take up the learning challenge.
We are looking for soundbites - a maximum of 36 characters.
Ambitions could include, for example:
