NIACEs annual International Womens Day (IWD) Conferences focus on themes of current interest to women learners and those working with them. NIACE has a substantial calendar of events throughout the year, many of which cover issues that concern women learners. Occasional issues of Adults Learning, the NIACE monthly journal, focus specifically on women learners. In March 2000 there was an issue which explored how women's education and training might develop in the 21st Century.
