Background

The training builds on our successful series of one-day RARPA training days for managers delivered since 2006.  A key feature of this programme is to demonstrate how RARPA supports quality improvement in your organisation.  This programme has been developed to incorporate the 2012 revised Common Inspection Framework (CIF). In particular the event will help you to identify how the five-stage process can be used to evidence the CIF Aspect: Outcomes for Learners.

Participants who have attended the training said:

Relevant to current issues within work

Can embed into our teaching

A very good day.  Great resources, good structure and knowledgeable trainer

I feel more confident to put constructive comments on ILPs

Will look to ways of using technology to record evidence of achievement

Makes a difficult subject a lot easier to understand

Excellent delivery. Excellent clarity of complex information

Probably the best training session I have attended, organised and delivered by NIACE

Organisations which have worked with NIACE to deliver the training in-house told us:

It is a high quality course, delivered by a very knowledgeable trainer and it was very easy to work with you to arrange all the details.

We have no hesitation in recommending this RARPA session to anyone interested in the topic.

Kevin Cheng, Deputy Head of Service, Calderdale Adult Learning

People found the training helpful to their work.

Very good communication with NIACE and trainer. Able to adapt the training to suit our needs

Anne Wilshin, Curriculum Manager, Northamptonshire County Council

The whole day was structured around our needs. Good discussion/planning ... between myself and the trainer to maximize our learning in specific areas that needed development. The chance to interact was great. The enthusiasm and subject knowledge of the trainer/deliverer was excellent. It was a well thought out day delivered by an experienced trainer who used both his theoretical and practical knowledge to develop our understanding of RARPA. We have no hesitation in recommending this RARPA session to anyone interested in the topic.
Kevin Cheng, Deputy Head of Service - Calderdale Adult Learning, Halifax

Excellent, content relevant and appropriate. Excellent facilitator.

Barbara Cullen, Area Manager SfL/ESOL/ Life and Work Skills, North Lindsey College
