Background

The South East Regional Priorities Project is part of an LSIS programme which funded 13 regional improvement projects in the South East. Each project has been delivered against one or more of the following regional priorities:

  • Expanding and improving the quality of apprenticeship provision
  • Enabling and sustaining provision from smaller providers
  • Developing a comprehensive offer of provision locally
  • Developing level four and five pathways and frameworks
  • Delivering pre apprenticeship and work readiness programmes

Aims

A key element of this event will be to facilitate practitioners' sharing of knowledge and expertise around regional priorities through:

  • Exploring and analysing the learning history gained from the projects in developing approaches to the 5 regional priorities
  • Sharing the broader learning history in terms of the benefits of collaboration and partnerships in terms of a joint approach to services, resources and curriculum development

Delegates will receive

  • Practical solutions developed by the projects
  • Materials developed by the projects
