[Background] [Event Information] [Application Conditions] [Application Form]
The Transformation Fund has put £20 million into Informal Adult Learning across England. The projects are many and varied, there has been fantastic and interesting work going on and NIACE and the government really want to hear about it and about your views on the future for Informal Adult Learning. What comes out of this conference will be used by NIACE as evidence to put to government and to shape future policy.
• What works well in other parts of the country?
• Are other people struggling with the same issues as us?
• What are the transforming ideas for the future?
• How can we get the messages of what matters to adult learners to a wider audience?
These questions, and many more, are the backdrop to an innovative and exciting event that NIACE is hosting at the end of February.
This conference is an opportunity for organisations that have benefited from the Transformation Fund to come together to share ideas, work on common issues and identify ways forward.
The conference is an ‘Open Space’ event. Open Space is a way of organising a meeting so that there is maximum participation, energy and focus. Everyone who attends will have the chance to contribute to creating the agenda and using their time to discuss the issues that matter to them.
*If you want to know more about how Open Space works have a look at the website of our facilitator - Annette Zera - http://www.gettingonbrilliantly.co.uk
