NIACE has two offices in Leicester: The main office is situated at Renaissance House, 20 Princess Road West but we have additional premises at 21 De Montfort Street.
There is only one train station serving the city of Leicester which has direct services to London, Birmingham, Coventry and Sheffield. On arriving at Leicester, follow the directions below to the relevant office. They are both within walking within half a mile of Leicester Station. Taxis are always available. A cash-point machine is also located within the station forecourt.
Renaissance House, 20 Princess Road West, LE1 6TP
Cross over London Road using the pedestrian crossing situated directly
outside the train station and proceed towards the Sun Alliance Building. When you
get to the other side, turn left. Cross over South Albion Street, and continue
up the hill. When you reach New Walk pedestrian walkway turn right and walk
towards the New Walk museum. Immediately after the museum, there is a grassy
area called Museum Square. Take the diagonal path across the green (navigating
round the big tree in the middle) and this will take you onto Princess Road
West. Princess Road West runs behind the museum. NIACE is situated 30 yards to
the right of the square on the right hand side of the road in Renaissance
House.
21 De Montfort Street, LE1 7GE
When leaving the train station, turn left and proceed up London Road until
you reach a pedestrian crossing (which is located outside a restaurant/bar).
Cross over to the opposite side of London Road, and continue up London Road.
The first road you come to on your right hand side is De Montfort Street. The
NIACE office is located approximately 100 yards along the road on the right
hand side, exactly opposite the Belmont House Hotel.
NIACE encourages all visitors to travel by public transport. However, if travelling by car is unavoidable, please follow the directions below. Please note the section on car parking.
