Dr. Matt Flynn

Dr. Matt Flynn is a senior lecturer for Middlesex University Business School, specialising in age management issues. He previously was employed as a research fellow for CROW, and continues to work with the Centre on a range of research initiatives. He is currently completing with CROW a qualitative study on employers’ age management policies and practices.

In September, Matt will be beginning an ESRC funded research project Age Diversity at the Workplace: A Comparative Study on the Influence of National Institutions on Employers' Age Management Practices.

Matt is also participating in a global project looking at quality of working life over the lifecourse. The headed up by the Center for Aging at Boston College and includes academics from around the World looking at issues such as retirement, equality, flexibility, lifelong learning, and career development. Matt is leading the research strand looking at the impact of public policy on the quality of working life.
