Foundation Learning is the name given to education provision at Entry Level and Level 1, and includes the qualifications at these levels within the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). Learners will be offered personalised learning opportunities that help them gain credit at Entry Level and Level 1, on a learning journey leading to a range of chosen destinations such as Level 2 qualifications, supported employment or independent living.
