Online Learning Matters
Following the development and delivery of NIACE's initial online courses, an opportunity was realised to bring together the lessons learnt from the development of online courses and learning platform projects, and to deliver this as a comprehensive publication with an optional one-day training event to highlight the publication. This project provided organisations with a comprehensive basis for the development of online learning courses within their own organisation.

Our provision online
NIACE delivered a number of training programmes and online sessions exploring online learning through its Moodle learning platform and other online tools. The Online Course Delivery project aimed to address the need for development of online learning within adult and community learning and the wider post-16 education sector. The role that social networking and 'Web2.0' technologies contribute to adult learning is very important for NIACE. These tools have the potential to give learners an authentic 'voice' in and increase the quality of their learning experience.

E-Guides eCPD Online
The E-Guides eCPD programme trained teachers of adults to make good use of technology in their teaching and to cascade their learning to colleagues.
The programme was an introduction for post-16 practitioners to e-learning and using technology effectively in teaching and learning. It made a major contribution to the e-maturity of organisations in Personal Development and Community Learning (formerly known as ACL - Adult and Community Learning), Work-Based Learning, Voluntary and Community Sector and Offender Learning and Skills.
