Public Sector

NIACE is committed to supporting public sector employers by developing whole-organisation approaches to literacy, language and numeracy. We currently have members of staff embedded within the Army and Her Majesty's Prison Service and we are working with the Police and a number of Sector Skills Councils.

NIACE also has close links with local authorities across the UK, supporting them to develop strategies for many themes including the new approach to ESOL, Apprenticeships, Care Leavers and mental health.
