Financial Literacy and Family Learning in Children's Centres

Pots of Gold is a family finance project delivered within Children's Centres across Newcastle and run by Newcastle Upon Tyne Family Learning Service.
The project targeted families with young children through Children's Centres and aimed to address the sensitivities around financial education and families on low incomes as well as explore and meet the financial education needs of parents and covered such topics as debt and management, budgeting, Child Trust Fund, Banking, Savings, Credit, limited budgets and peer pressure.

The resources developed are now available to order or download. They contain six fun and exciting session that can be used with parents.
