Panel members provide an independent voice to give direct feedback and advice on current and emergent policies and regional plans to enable better decision making.
Learner Voice: Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Learner Panel
This project has now finished. We've left it here for reference.
The Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Learning Panel is a reference group which NIACE facilitates. The panel members are not expected to be experts - they are people who have valuable knowledge and direct experience as users of the further education system.
What are we aiming to achieve? How will we do this work? The panel holds regular meetings and discussions. Who is this work for?We hope that this panel will benefit learners in the Yorkshire and the Humber region, as the panel members are (or have been) learners themselves so they can provide valuable insights about learning in the region from the viewpoint of service users. The panel is funded by the Learning and Skills Council. What have we accomplished to date? The following documents were developed during the course of the Yorkshire and Humber Learners' Panel: What is (or will be) the impact of this work?We hope that learners in the region will see improvements in their learning experiences as a result of opinions and feedback from the panel. We also hope that more learners will be encouraged to come forward and express their views if they can see that it can make a difference. Contact InformationMs Jan Novitzky |
