Online basics

Online basics

Online basics is an online resource which offers new users of the internet a step by step approach to joining the online world.

What are we aiming to achieve?

Our aim in this project is to raise awareness of the resource in local authority and third sector providers so that they can use it to best effect with their learners.

How will we do this work?

We ran a number of regional events and published an information sheet for providers (see below).

Who is this work for?

The work is being undertaken to ensure that adults who are not users of the internet can have accss to appropriate materials to support them in getting online.

What have we accomplished to date?

In addition to running local events we provided links to a range of initiatives and resources which are working towards Digital Inclusion.
