To provide a practical learning opportunity for disadvantaged householders
living in areas identified within Bristol and Somerset as having high levels of
fuel poverty. It will do this by providing a new, energy specific, supported
learning programme to increase work-based knowledge and transferable skills.

What does the project do?
Develop an innovative learner support package;
Link with Volunteer Bureau to develop materials and recruit
participants;
Work with New Deal and Pathway to Work Placements;
Deliver learning opportunities;
Support volunteers working in the community;
Encourage progression;
Produce Best Practice guidelines.
