What does the project do?
The Activate Programme will be a comprehensive ‘train the trainer’
framework for disabled and deaf people to acquire the skills to deliver creative
equality training to the cultural industry sector, local authorities, higher and
further education institutions, the corporate and public sectors.
Progress/achievements/interesting developments which are/have taken place:
Activate will enable disabled and deaf people, through the arts, to gain the
following skills: Disability and Deaf Equality Training (using the arts as a
vehicle), acquire knowledge on how to become self-employed, marketing,
promotion, presentation and negotiation skills.
