Lifelong Learning Programme – Grundtvig

Grundtvig is part of the European Commission’s new Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) which aims to strengthen the European dimension in adult education and lifelong learning across Europe.

The specific objectives of the Grundtvig programme are:

bulletTo respond to the educational challenge of an ageing population in Europe; and
bulletTo help provide adults with pathways to improve their knowledge and competences.

ECOTEC Research & Consulting is the UK National Agency for Grundtvig and other key actions of the Lifelong Learning Programme (Leonardo da Vinci and Transversal programmes).

The following Grundtvig actions are managed by ECOTEC Research & Consulting:

bulletPartnerships: These are small-scale European cooperation projects focused on the process of establishing exchanges on specific themes and on the active participation of the adult learners. How to apply

The next deadlines are:

Partnerships: 15 February 2008 (one deadline per year)

In-service Training grants: Various deadlines throughout the year.

Application deadline For activity taking place in the period
31 January 2008 01 April - 30 June 2008
31 March 2008 01 July - 30 September 2008
30 June 2008 01 October - 31 December 2008
30 September 2008 01 January - 31 March 2009

Preparatory Visits

Apply at least 6 weeks before the visits.
