A special feature on the falling numbers of computer courses and the effect this has on people trying to remain or become employable at a time of recession, was aired on Channel 4's News at Noon on Thurdsay 11 June 2009.

The feature can be viewed online and includes interviews with NIACE's Alastair Clark and 2007 Adult Learners' Week award winner, Hazel Church.

An accompanying article on the Channel 4 news website - Fear over computer training - quotes the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) on the upcoming independent review of computer skills that Baroness Estelle Morris has been asked to carry out.
