NIACE survey closed Tuesday, February 1, 2011 - 17:52
The survey focussed primarily on the following questions:
• What is currently happening to Foundation Learning provision for adult learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities?
• What will the implications be of funding eligibility changes to provision for adult learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in 2011/2012?
Yola Jacobsen, NIACE Programme Director, said:
"Across the field, concerns are growing about the changing provision for adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. This group of learners are a priority in the Skills Strategy so it is essential that we get an accurate picture of how changes to provision arrangements are affecting learners. We also want to hear from learners who have been directly affected by these changes. The information we gather from the survey will be anonymised and compiled into a report to share with the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). We would also like to hear from learners who have concerns about their provision."
The survey was completed online or downloaded as a word document and returned via email to LLDDsurvey@niace.org.uk.
All responses will be reported anonymously, but should NIACE wish to identify you in its report, further permission will be sought.
