FE Workforce Strategy survey Monday, October 18, 2010 - 09:58
Lifelong Learning UK's (LLUK) FE Workforce Strategy - published annually for the past two years - is a strategy to support employers in the adult learning sector, in implementing their own workforce plans to make sure they deliver excellent learning provision.
Due to their commitment to help the LLUK refresh its strategy for the current year, NIACE, HOLEX and UCU consulted adult learning providers by asking them to complete a short survey by Friday, 5 November 2010. The survey was completed by leaders, senior managers responsible for workforce issues and staff development and other sector professionals interested in adult learning.
The responses will be used to draft a document that will be further consulted on, to produce a final paper for the adult learning community. The final paper will be disseminated early in 2011.
To ensure that as many and as wide a range of voices from across the adult learning sector are heard, NIACE - on behalf of the national partners - is also organising consultation events:
• in London on 24 November;
• in Blackburn on 25 November; and
• in Leicester on 30 November.
