Learner Voice workshop at CONFINTEA VI Wednesday, December 23, 2009 - 16:12
As part of CONFINTEA VI a workshop was held on learner voice. Lord Young, Minister at the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills chaired the session, which discussed the importance of ensuring that learners are encouraged and enabled to have democratic representation within the lifelong learning system.
The report, featured below, details the main discussions - involving learners from around the world - which focused on how learners can take an active role in how their education is managed and delivered; the impact learners can have on policy decisions; and what action needs to be taken in the future.
