Survey for providers of skills for unemployed adults Thursday, October 6, 2011 - 13:46
NIACE's online survey, commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), will capture the views of leaders, managers and practitioners involved in delivering skills provision to unemployed adults and young people aged 19 - 24 who are not in education employment or training (NEET).
Rob Gray, the project leader at NIACE, said:
"Since August, providers delivering training for unemployed adults have broken new ground through local planning in conjunction with key stakeholders to meet local labour market needs, very close collaboration with Jobcentre Plus, unit based delivery, job output incentive payments and skills conditionality. This survey provides an important opportunity for providers to let us know how they are getting on, to say what aspects of delivery they find challenging and to identify what support they would like."
The survey closed on Friday 14 October 2011.
