The new NIACE e-books website includes the most recent NIACE titles available, with new titles and selected older titles to be added in future.

NIACE e-books offer the same quality content as their hard copy counterparts, which continue to be available at the NIACE Book Shop. E-books can be can read on computers, laptops or other compatible portable devices and they are available in formats for online and offline reading. The benefits of e-books include the following:

  • they allow readers to build a substantial library that can be instantly accessed;
  • depending on the device used and the format purchased, accessibility features such as the size and typeface of text, line spacing, number of words per line and page orientation can be adjusted - some devices will also read books aloud;
  • passages of text can be highlighted, electronic notes made and pages bookmarked for later reference;
  • e-books can be downloaded and read instantly without having to wait for delivery; and
  • there are no postage and packaging charges.

Customers will need to register on the e-books website in order to purchase and download content. The e-books website also allows customers to:

  • browse inside limited content of books before making the decision to buy;
  • use tools such as full-text search, dictionary, encyclopedia, translation and maps; and
  • share content with friends or colleagues via email or social networking sites and by adding widgets to websites.
