FE loans are being introduced in 2013 in England for adults over 24 years of age undertaking learning at Level 3 and above, a policy which will have long-term implications for the funding of adult learning.

The seminar will offer attendees the chance to explore NIACE's latest analysis of the possible effects the policy will have on provider strategic planning and marketing and will also give them the opportunity to hear from providers who are modelling their provision in response to the policy.

Mark Ravenhall, Director of Policy and Impact at NIACE, said:

"Since we published Perspectives on further education loans, our members have been particularly interested in this issue - both the challenges and the opportunities it presents. At this seminar we will share NIACE's latest thinking on the subject and hear how providers are responding to this challenging agenda."

"The jury is still out as to whether further education loans will be good for adult learners and widening participation, but we are keen to contribute to the debate and look at practical ways of how providers will respond."
