Transformation Fund – bid deadline closed Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - 11:49

The deadline has now closed for organisations to bid for money from the Transformation Fund - £19 million was available to bid for. A further £1 million worth of funding was for 'early bird' bids made by 12 June.

The Transformation Fund - announced by DIUS in The Learning Revolution - will support new and creative informal adult learning proposals that will benefit people, not just now, but for years to come.

The Transformation Fund Prospectus 2009/10 was launched by John Denham at the annual Adult Learners' Week Policy Conference held in London on Tuesday 12 May 2009.

Alan Tuckett, NIACE Chief Executive, said:
