Navigation

There are Four features to help navigation.

Button The buttons on the left of the page are present throughout the site to allow you to move from section to section. The bullet turns red whenever you are navigating within a particular section.

(On pages which contain a lot of text, such as reports, the left border disappears to maximise space).

Breadcrumb Trial The box at the top of each page is called a 'breadcrumb trail' (taken from the story of Hansel and Gretel)  It serves two purposes:
  1. It tells you where you are.
  2. It shows you the path back to the home page (with a link to each step along the way)

Each step is separated by a ">" mark.

(e.g. [Path: Projects > ICT > Laptops] literally means that "you are in the Laptops section of the ICT section of the Projects section of the site").

[Blue Links] The [blue links] at the top of the pages provide a means of navigating within the sections (when you are on a page its link will turn black). To get to the "parent" of the page you are on, simply click on the last link in the 'breadcrumb trail' (see above).
Red Arrow Since our pages are mainly text-based, you will see this symbol (Red Arrow) at various stages on a page.   Clicking on this will take you straight back to the top of the page you are currently browsing.
