Javascript & CSS

This website makes use of Javascript and CSS technology to provide a dynamic interface for browsing the regions map. The following explains how the site will react under various conditions:

CSS and Javascript disabled or only CSS disabled

The site will 'degrade gracefully' if your web broswer does not use CSS or CSS is disabled. You will be presented with a plain black on white interface.

Javascript disabled and CSS enabled

The site will look 'normal', however the dynamic functions (on-screen elements changing when parts of the map images are hovered over/clicked on) will not work. In this situation the dynamic elements can be ignored or the alternative (High Visibility) stylesheet can be used to format the page such that Javascript is not necessary.

Zoom View - comming soon

The zoom view will default to a larger font size, arrange the page as a single column (where moodle allows) and use easy-to-read colours.
