Employment Strategy Lead, The Office for Disability Issues

I joined the Office for Disability Issues in November 2006 and have lead responsibility for employment strategy.

I have worked for the Department for Work and Pensions and its predecessors for more than 30 years. I started in benefit delivery before moving into policy development. More recently I have had the DWP lead on Statutory Payments and was responsible for delivering the DWP elements of the Work and Families Act 2006.

I am particularly interested in seeing how the Commission’s findings might be applied more widely into other employment fields.
