Should your organisation get involved – What about Capacity?

There are a number of questions to ask when you are thinking of getting involved in delivering Embedded Basic Skills. The list here may help you in getting started on the process, but is not exclusive. You will find links to other part of this web site, to help explain some of the contexts.

• Have you identified a need that can be dealt with by delivering Embedded Basic Skills?

• Can you turn that need into a demand – will potential learners want to engage?

• What outcomes are you looking for?

• Have you consulted with stakeholders?

• Does this fit with your strategy, charitable purpose or aims and objectives?

• What will you be trying to do – be a signposter, a host/broker or a provider?
